L-SENSE Positioning Sensor
01General Features
The L-SENSE is a magnetic positioning sensor that senses the car position from magnets placed in the shaft. It connects to the controller board with a five-conductor plug-in cable.
Sensing
Senses the magnets in the shaft magnetically; it works without contact and has no wearing parts.
Connection
Connects to the controller board with a five-conductor cable through the socket at the bottom end of the body.
02Mounting and Distance
The sensor is fixed to the shaft guide rail or to the car-top bracket through its fixing base. The electrical connection is plugged into the socket at the bottom end of the body.
The LEVEL marking and the direction arrow on the body show the mounting
orientation of the sensor.
Magnet distance
| Measurement | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum | 10 mm |
| Maximum | 20 mm |
Below 10 mm the magnet may rub against the sensor; above 20 mm sensing becomes unstable. Make sure this range is maintained along the whole shaft.
03Cable Connection
| Wire colour | Signal | Controller board terminal |
|---|---|---|
| Red | +24 V | ML0 |
| Black | GND | 1000 |
| Green | OUT | OUT |
| Yellow | ML2 | ML2 |
| Blue | ML1 | ML1 |
This wiring order is taken from the diagram in the manual. If you are connecting to a different controller board, check the terminal names against that board's own documentation.
